Valet was fast and friendly but the room felt cramped and a bit rundown.

holiday inn express is a fantastic place to stay. the historic charm as an old city prison adds uniqueness. the location is perfect, only a short walk from the riverwalk. the fitness center is accessible from 5:30 am to 11:00 pm which is great for early risers. breakfast was exactly what you'd expect, tasty and convenient.

We enjoyed visiting the Majestic Theater for a Broadway show, which was just a quick walk from the hotel. The room was neat and cozy, and we appreciated how welcoming Yvette at the front desk was, providing great local recommendations. My mom loved her stay too!

The room was spotless and felt brand new with those fancy fixtures in the bathroom. That giant California king bed made for some serious comfort! The outdoor pool was a relaxing escape, and I enjoyed winding down in the leisure room too. Just a heads up that the elevator is quite a trek from some rooms, but it didn't ruin my awesome stay! 😊
